Brand management & design

Oil & Vinegar is a successful franchise formula with Mediterranean products. Established in 1999, Oil & Vinegar is to be found in 8 countries; the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, and Japan. For this project the brand asked me to revamp existing assets of the brand into a modern, accessible identity.

Premium yet accessible

Brand management & design

Despite Oil & Vinegar being an established franchise brand in countries all around the world, the styling and look and feel they present, differs in each shop. Alongside, they are making a slight shift in positioning to the current market.
Therefore, they came up with the request to rebrand the brand in one unambiguous concept with accompanying brand guide, without having to change the stores from head to toe.

This project consisted particularly of increasing the recognizability of the brand by enhancing and modernizing the features that make Oil & Vinegar stand out as the premium yet accessible brand they are.

Point Of Sale material

Offline DTP and online marketing visuals

The shops of Oil & Vinegar are all about experience. Using atmospheric visuals made at one of their farmers in Italy, combined with a new typographic logo, the offline POS items take you into the authentic yet premium value of the brand.

Alongside the design, I was responsible for the technical and graphic aspects of all marketing visuals at the company.

 

Oil & Vinegar in your own kitchen

Brand management & design

The experience of Oil & Vinegar, of course, does not stop at leaving the shops. That is why it is important to bring out the premium authenticity of the products in the labels.
Sleek, uniform and timeless.
That way, everyone wants a little Oil & Vinegar in their kitchen.

Culinary advent calendar

Design & DTP

One of the biggest products of Oil & Vinegar is their advent calendar in not only production, but also in design.
Together with the category manager in charge of this product, I designed a calendar that consists of 26 little boxes. Each of the boxes was designed to fit an individual product, and has the application of that particular product on it so customers know exactly what to do with their little gift.
This was a very challenging project in both creative as technical design aspects.
